The game start with you having nothing in a small area. That area is called your home and you can do everything from building and stuff. You will be able to build your base by using woods that you have found on the area or simple chop the tree and find the woods.

You will also be able to build and craft stuff. At first you will only be able to craft some stuff, like hatchet, and pick axe, but as your lvl grow, you will be able to craft more things. But remember, each time you learn something you will be missing a point, and you will only be given a point each time you lvl up.
